Well 2017 is turning into a busy year…
The start of it has been taken up with the Belfast School of Performing Arts, towards the end of 2016 I was appointed as its Artistic Director and I have spent the last few months settling in and getting to know the students and the staff. Iam thoroughly enjoying playing a part in the performing experiences of its 400 young people from Northern Ireland.
I also directed a UK tour of The Rat Pack, which started in February.
March was taken up with a visit to St James’s Palace to present Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards and then a visit to the Houses of Parliament to sing in a celebration for St Patricks Day.
In Spring I have a few concerts including Twilight at the Trust at the beautiful Mount Stewart before directing 2 BSPA Productions at the MAC Belfast as well as working with some young people in Perform Boot Camp.
The Autumn sees The Music Box 2017 rehearsals start for our annual Christmas show and 2018 begins with a Cruise in the Caribbean with Phil Coulter before a return to the Netherlands for a tour of my new show “The Call of the Celts” in March.
